Delays are expected on a major route this morning after a crash in Maidstone.

A collision involving two cars and a van occurred on the A229 Loose Road, near the junction with Cripple Street and Boughton Lane.

Kent Police were called at 6.15am and are on scene. Drivers are urged to use caution when approaching and to expect delays in the area.

Work is ongoing to recover the vehicles.
