A crash involving a lorry and two cars on the M20 this morning caused tailbacks for other motorists.
The crash happened on the coastbound carriageway between Junction 3 for the M26 and Junction 4 for Leybourne.
The carriageway was partially blocked for a short time but highways officers were able to move the vehicles to lane one and open the other two.
The collision caused delays for other motorists. There were also long delays on the London-bound side from Junction 6 for Maidstone to Junction 3 for the M26.
Traffic was held back while highway officers dealt with the smash but it has now started moving again.
Police spokesman Martin Very said: "Kent Police was called at 6.44am regarding a collision involving a truck and two cars on the coastbound carriageway.
"Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service are at the scene where a woman received medical treatment for minor injuries.
"Highways officers stopped the traffic while two cars were moved from the central reservation to the hard shoulder.
"The carriageway has now reopened and patrols remain at the scene while the vehicles are recovered."
