Two lanes of the M20 are closed due to a crash between a car and a lorry.

The accident shut all three lanes of the Coast-bound carriageway between J5 at Aylesford and J6 at Maidstone at around 12.30pm.

By 1.30pm all traffic was being diverted into the distributor lanes at M20 J5 at Aylesford.

Firefighters were called to the accident and crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of the car to reach a woman, who was taken into the care of paramedics.

She was reportedly experiencing neck pain.
