Crews are at the scene of a large cornfield fire.
Six fire engines are at the site in Chart Sutton, Maidstone.
Firefighters were called just before 3pm and are working to limit the spread of the flames which is around two hectares wide.
The cause is not known at this stage. They were stood down at 5pm.
The recent hot weather has caused problems for farmers who have seen a rise in the number of fires.
On Monday, 25 firefighter were called to a fire in Challock and a large plume of smoke was seen when another cornfield caught fire in Charing.
