Fire crews were called to a Volkswagen van alight in Maidstone this morning.

One pump arrived in Dean Street, East Farleigh, shortly after 8.35am and extinguished the flames.

They left the site, near Horseshoes Riding School, at 9.05am.

Kent Police has been informed as the fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
