It was a case of ready, steady, throw at the 43rd World Custard Pie Championships in Coxheath on Saturday.
Scores of people lined up armed with pies to battle it out and become champion thrower.
But there could only one team of winners and that was the High Pressure Cleaning Team who beat last year’s winners Coxheath in the final.
Teams were given were given maximum points for throwing a pie squarely into their opponents’ faces. Points were also awarded to teams who showed originality in their throwing techniques.
