A cyclist was injured in a road accident in Leybourne.
The collision between a black Land Rover Discovery and push bike happened at around 4pm on Tuesday, June 30, on Castle Way, near the RSPCA centre.
The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken by air ambulance to Queen's Hospital in Romford, Essex suffering from head injuries and multiple abrasions.
A police spokesman said this morning (Wednesday) that his condition is believed to be stable.
The road was closed for several hours while police investigated.
Officers also set up traffic controls around surrounding villages as motorists tried to find other routes home. Those diversions were lifted at around 6.45pm and Castle Way was re-opened at 7.45pm.
