A lane of the M20 was shut after a road collision this afternoon.

The third lane of the coast-bound carriageway was closed at junction two for Wrotham Hill at around 2pm, causing 20-minute delays.

Police were at the scene, where a car is thought to have crashed into the central reservation.

Fire crews were called but stood down en-route.

The lane reopened just after 3pm.
