Drivers suffered delays after a crash involving a lorry and a van blocked a motorway slip road.

The accident, which happened at around 5.25pm, has blocked the slip road at Junction 5 of the M20 at Aylesford.

The entry slip road heading London-bound was blocked for several hours and emergency services were called to the scene.

A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 5.25pm to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision at junction 5 of the London-bound carriageway of the M20 involving a lorry and a Citroen Berlingo van. No injuries were reported."

Highways officials confirmed the road cleared at around 9.40pm.
