There are delays along the A20 after an HGV struck a railway bridge and overturned.

The coastbound carriageway is partially blocked near its junction with Church Road in Harrietsham following the earlier incident.

Police were called at around 11.40am today (February 17) and have been helping with the recovery of the vehicle.

There were no reported injuries.

A picture taken by a driver at the scene showed the red HGV on its side blocking part of the carriageway.

Traffic is thought to be coping well but motorists are being warned to approach the area with caution.
