A man has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a car and a lorry on the A20.
The busy road was blocked by the lorry which had jackknifed near Junction 8 of the M20 for Leeds Castle and Maidstone Services.
According to traffic information provider Inrix, there was congestion on the Maidstone-bound A20 Ashford Road back from the roundabout.
It was reported the collision happened on the entrance to the roundabout from the A20 – with traffic unable to access it.
By 10.30am, the lorry had been cleared and the delays had eased.
A police spokesman said: "This was a collision involving a lorry and a car and which was reported to us at 7.30am.
"Police and ambulance crews attended and man was taken to hospital with injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening."
