Motorists heading to Maidstone are warned to expect delays on the A229 Blue Bell Hill.

Traffic is queuing from the top of the hill following a car crash this morning.

Kent Highways has warned drivers to expect delays after the M2 junction 3 roundabouts near Rochester and has told them to approach the area with caution.

An eyewitness said: "A black car is pretty badly smashed up from the front. Queueing is all the way to the top of the hill."

Police are on the site. The crash is understood to have happened around 8.30am in fog.
