Fuel spill on M20 near Maidstone between junction 5 and 6 causing tailbacks

There are delays on the M20 following a fuel spillage this morning.

Police and fire crews are currently on the coastbound carriage between junctions 5 and 6 following the incident which happened just before 8am.

The fuel is thought to have been spilt over lane one of three which is coned off and efforts are being made to clean it up.
