There are delays on the M20 this morning after a vehicle broke down.

Lane 1 of the motorway is currently closed between Aylesford and Maidstone.

There are tailbacks in the westbound direction stretching between junctions 5 and 6.

Highways England has dispatched a recovery vehicle to the incident.

The agency expects normal traffic conditions to resume shortly.

There were further delays on the stretch of motorway near Swanley this morning following multiple accidents.
