There were delays on the M20 after a rush-hour crash this morning.

A lane of the motorway was blocked in the London-bound carriageway between J9 for Ashford and J8 for Leeds Castle at 8.15am.

A car had spun around in the road, but noone was injured.

The motorway is understood to have been closed briefly to allow the vehicle involved to be moved to the hard shoulder and for debris to be cleared.

All lanes had reopened by 9.15am.
