There was more misery for commuters this morning following a crash on another major motorway.
The M20 London-bound carriageway was reported to be partially blocked between J8 for Leeds and J7 for Detling, shortly before 9am.
The accident came after problems on the M2, with queues stretching back 10 miles from J5 at Sittingbourne, and traffic on the A249 after a collision in the Maidstone-bound lane.
A stretch of the M25 was also shut and four people taken to hospital after a serious crash there.
