Could your child help the Kent Messenger mark its 150th birthday next year?
We're looking to use children's artistic skills to design the logo that will feature in all our anniversary coverage throughout 2009.
We have written to every primary school in the area inviting them to get involved. Designs should be eye-catching, imaginative and capture the essence of the paper’s role in the community. It can have traditional or modern look but beware of putting too much detail on your entry - like any brand or logo, we’re looking for simplicity and a nice idea behind the design.
Any child up to the age of 12 is eligible to enter and the winner will receive a great prize - £100 cash, a family trip to Cadbury World plus a visit with classmates to the KM’s headquarters to see their work roll off our presses.
The winner will be decided by KM staff, including the editor Bob Bounds. Entries, ideally in hard copy format should be sent to the KM, 6&7 Middle Row, Maidstone, ME14 ITG. The closing date is November 28.
Normal KM rules apply.
