The A249 southbound has now reopened following a diesel spillage this morning.

Lane one remains closed from Stockbury, but traffic is flowing freely.

The road was closed just before six this morning following a diesel spillage from an HGV.

The incident happened on the Maidstone bound carriageway of the A249 between the Three Squirrels public house and Detling.
