This fine band of men were the Maidstone United Football Club team back in 1913-14.

Although it is almost a century ago, followers of the Stones may well recognise some of the names, helpfully included on the photo, which was sent in to The Way We Were by Bernard Brann of Laxton Drive, Chart Sutton, after he found it in a family photo album.

The names included are: Mayson; McKinnell; Sykes; Wood; Williams; Tanner; Dyer; Williamson; Goodman; Bull; Prichard; Whitehead; Marsh, Collins and Hall.
