THE BODY of a woman in her 30s was discovered by a dog walker in woodland behind Maidstone Hospital yesterday.

Police, who were alerted at 12.48pm, have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

The body, believed to be that of a Maidstone woman, is thought to have been lying at the scene overnight.

Police are releasing no further details about the incident until an inquest is formally opened.
