Christmas is obviously going to be a little different this year, but that doesn't mean it can't still be fun.
The Covid lockdown has prevented Maidstone from enjoying it traditional annual Christmas lights switch-on event in Jubilee Square, which is usually attended by thousands of supporters who enjoy live music and the chance to glimpse that year's panto stars.
But the One Maidstone Business Improvement District - the organisation that represents town centre businesses - is laying on an online show for us to enjoy at home.
It goes out tonight - on the evening that the lights-switch-on would usually have been held - at 7.30pm on the One Maidstone Youtube channel.
It is free to watch.
Viewers are being encouraged to take part by posting a selfie of themselves or their family watching the Secret Switch On at home, using the hashtag #onemaidstone
Among the performers will be students from the Mandy Ellen Performing Arts College, magician Michael Mcintre, the All Saints Church Choir, singer Amy Ansell, The Grinch and many more.
Watch the show here.
The Youtube video will also be embedded on the One Maidstone website and Facebook page.
If you miss the "live" show, you can always watch again later.
