A man's been charged drink driving after his lorry crashed into a lamp post at Blue Bell Hill.

Meszaros Laszlo, 54 and of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of being four times the legal limit after the vehicle careened off the Maidstone-bound A229 on Wednesday (November 16).

No other vehicles are thought to have been involved.

Laszlo has been granted bail and will appear before Maidstone Magistrates Court on Friday, December 2.
