A driver has been caught speeding along a Kent motorway at an astonishing 122mph.

The Swiss national was pulled over on the M20 between junction 8 for Leeds and 9 for Ashford after being spotted hurtling down the coast-bound carriageway at more than 50mph over the limit.

The BMW driver was pulled over by officers from Kent Police's roads unit at around 4.30pm on Monday.

The motorist was reported for summons to court and slapped with a fine of £500 as a court deposit.
