Police have caught a driver travelling on the M2 at 135mph - shortly after pulling over another speeding at 123mph.

The latest offender was caught on the M2 near to Blue Bell Hill.

The same officers had earlier pulled over a driver travelling at 123mph on the A2 at Bexley.

A tweet from Kent Police Roads stated: "Shocking. The last motorist we stopped was bad enough but on our return to the station we stopped this vehicle at 135mph!

"Again the unmarked vehicle is proving it's worth in taking these dangerous people off the road who show no regard for the lives of others."

They added the 'utterly stupid' driver also had a bald rear tyre.
