A car has crashed into some homes and ended up embedded in a skip and a wall.
Police were called earlier this evening after the car ended up crashing into the skip and the wall outside a house.
It is understood the driver and a passenger were taken away by police officers.
Witnesses reported seeing a large amount of police cars and a fire engine at the scene.
It is understood the grey car hit two houses in Darwin Avenue, Maidstone, before hitting the skip and the wall.
It is not known at this stage if anyone has been injured as a result of the smash.
It is understood the crash caused damage to a gas supply in one property.
And damage was also caused to a property in nearby Ruskin Grove.
Witnesses said a woman was driving the vehicle and a man was in the passenger seat.
One man who didn't want to be named said: "After hitting the skip the driver tried to drive off but someone took the keys out of the car.
"There were at least nine police cars two fire engines a police truck.
"Both were restrained by the police and have been taken away and at least two properties have been damaged."
Kent Police has been approached for a comment.
