Accident blocks two lanes of A229 through Maidstone town centre

A crash on the A229 caused delays through a busy town centre.

Two lanes of three were blocked at Fairmeadow in Maidstone on the southbound carriageway following the incident.

Police and ambulance service were called to the scene.

There are no details yet of any injuries.
