Drivers faced delays on the M20 today after a crash near Maidstone.

Queues were back to J8 for Leeds Castle on London-bound carriageway as a result of collision between J7 for Detling Hill and J6 for Blue Bell Hill.

The incident, which happened just before 9am, closed one lane of the motorway while the vehicles were recovered.

The carriageway fully reopened at 9.30am with congestion clearing shortly afterwards.
