Two men from Maidstone have been arrested on suspicion of dealing drugs.

The duo, aged 31 and 20, made off from a silver Vauxhall Astra parked in Tonbridge Road. Officers caught up with them in nearby Westree Road.

Three police vehicles were called to the scene off Tonbridge Road and officers were seen searching the car.

They found packages thought to contain heroin and cocaine.

A spokesman said the men remain in custody and enquiries are ongoing.
