Forensics vans descended on a Ringlestone street this week to search a house.

Officers arrested a 39-year-old man at a home in Calder Road yesterday on suspicion of assault and breaching a restraining order.

They returned this morning to carry out a search of a property and seized various drugs paraphernalia.

The man remains in custody.
