Emergency crews were called to an accident on the M20 last last night.

The incident happened in fog just before midnight when a car on the London-bound carriageway hit the central reservation between Junction 8 (Hollingbourne) and Junction 9 (Ashford).

Fire, police and ambulance crews attended the scene. The female driver escaped with only minor injuries.
