Tonbridge Angels stretched their unbeaten run in Blue Square Bet South to eight matches with a 2-1 win at Eastbourne Borough on Tuesday.
In awful conditions at the Langney Sports Club, Angels took the lead through midfielder Chris Piper after 37 minutes.
Borough drew level on 75 minutes through Ellis Remy, but Angels secured their first away win of the season five minutes later when Piper snatched his second goal.
This Saturday Tonbridge have a rearranged fixture at Sutton United, with whom they drew 1-1 at Longmead last weekend.
