A superb second-half strike from Lee Browning earned Tonbridge Angels a 2-1 win at Eastbourne Borough on Tuesday night.
Former Tonbridge striker Carl Rook hit the bar for Eastbourne after nine minutes before Ben Watson gave Borough the lead on 21 minutes.
New Angels loan signing Kayne McLaggon equalised four minutes before the break after converting an Ade Olorunda cross.
The visitors were dominant in the second half and deservedly scored the winner in the 70th minute when Browning drove at the Eastbourne defence before curling an unstoppable shot into the far corner.
The win moves Tonbridge up to 13th in Blue Square Bet South ahead of Saturday's trip to Dorchester.
