Ed Sheeran took a selfie with staff at a Kent pub last night.
The Shape of You singer posed for smiling pictures at The Hengist Village Bar & Dining Room in Aylesford, near Maidstone.
Posts from the High Street pub on Instagram and Facebook thanked the artist for the "team photo" and saw dozens of comments flooding in.
One person wrote "He‘s the hero of selfies," while another said "He choose well for a great place to eat."
Other fans started speculating the reason the four-time Grammy and seven-time Brit award winner could be in the county, with someone commenting: "There is a recording studio at Blue Bell Hill so maybe he was there?"
Yesterday, it is understood Ed Sheeran was also spotted filming at the Historic Dockyard, in Chatham.
It comes after a kmfm listener played detective by comparing Instagram stories of four different accounts.
They discovered that users had posted the same location tag, a couple of pictures of filming crews, and even a picture of a clapperboard reading "Mahogany x Ed Sheeran".
It is not the first time the 32-year-old had been spotted in Kent, as he has also been pictured grabbing some fish and chips in Greatstone on Romney Marsh.
Back in 2019, he ordered scampi and chips plus a jumbo battered sausage each, two cans of Pepsi, and a bottle of ketchup from the restaurant, before eating them on the beach.
Last summer, the songwriter and his wife Cherry Seaborn bought and converted an old 1880s railway carriage in Dungeness for £650,000.
He has also stopped by at The Britannia Inn in Dungeness several times.
Landlord Richard Davis told KentOnline earlier this month: “It’s not the sort of place you expect to see someone, so when you do see someone it can raise eyebrows.
“But Ed Sheeran came in unrecognised for four visits. On the surface he’s got this scruffy ginger face and he’s got one of those faces that blends in."
The Hengist, Blue Bell Hill Studios, and The Historic Dockyard have been contacted for comment.
The pub, dating back to the 16th century, is now a modern restaurant and bar, situated a short walk from the River Medway.
Ed Sheeran visited on a Wednesday evening, when The Hengist offers a "steak night special".
