Ed Sheeran will be coming to perform in the County Town next month, it has been revealed.
Jools Holland has confirmed the chart-topping sensation will be a guest on his annual Hootenanny show, which is pre-recorded at Maidstone Studios.
The filming takes place on Wednesday, December 6, with the BBC programme set to air on New Year's Eve.
But the announcement comes too late for Sheeran fans to apply for tickets, as registration closed on Monday.
The audience is chosen in a random draw.
It is not the first time the Shape of You singer has appeared on Hootenanny.
He featured on the show back in 2014, performing a rendition of Thinking Out Loud and a cover of Stevie Wonder's Master Blaster.
He has also sung on Later...With Jools Holland in 2011, 2014 and 2017.
