An elderly woman suffered a head injury when she collapsed in a Maidstone street.

The patient, in her 80s, fell in West Park Road, near to Maidstone Leisure Centre, on Saturday.

South East Coast Ambulance Service was called just after 11am and sent three crews to the scene.

The pensioner was treated for injuries, including head trauma, before she was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury.
