Some 3,500 visitors attended a fun day at Kent Police Training college – the first time it has opened its doors to the public.
Organisers say the Maidstone event was so successful it will be held again next year.
Police dogs, public order displays, and a police helicopter were included in the programme which also involved fire, ambulance and Red Cross teams.
Among those attending was Chief Constable Ian Learmonth, on the same day it was announced he had been awarded the Queen’s Police Medal in her Birthday Honours list.
