Emergency services called to Loose Road, Maidstone, after concerns for man's welfare

Police and ambulance crews were called following concerns for a man's welfare.

Emergency services were seen outside Lewis's Fish and Grill in Loose Road, Maidstone, yesterday afternoon.

A total of four police cars and one ambulance attended, and video footage showed the scene at around 4.45pm.

Traffic was said to be slow in the area around the incident.

Kent Police today confirmed they were called at 3.30pm to a "report of concern for the welfare of a person at a residential address in Loose Road, Maidstone."

A statement added: "Officers and ambulance crews attended and a man was passed into the care of medical professionals."
