Emergency roadworks have forced a main road leading into a town centre to close.
The A26 Tonbridge Road in Barming was shut yesterday at around 9pm.
The road, near Sainsbury's Local, is set to be closed until Friday (July 7).
It will allow Southern Water to carry out utility repairs and maintenance works.
A resident on a local Facebook group spotted a traffic management truck and crews setting up in the area.
They said: “Left hand turning lane on Fountain Lane already coned off with road closed sign and can see other road ahead closed signs getting erected.”
Southern Water has been asked for more information.
