Emergency services were called to a home in Snodland after a woman reported she had been assaulted on Sunday afternoon.

Two police vehicles and two ambulances were seen outside a property in Birling Road, Snodland, at about 5pm.

Police confirmed they had been called to a domestic incident and that a man had been arrested.
