A crash on a main road caused long tail backs with emergency services rushing to the scene.

The accident happened on the A249 at Detling Hill heading towards Sittingbourne at about 7.10pm.

Tailbacks were stretching back to Junction 7 of the M20.

Fire crews, South East Coast Ambulance Service and police were all called to the scene.
