Two children and two adults were helped out of their home after a blaze in an electrical intake box.
Firefighters were called after reports of smoke in the property at Mercer Close in Paddock Wood in the early hours of this morning.
Crews used a thermal imaging camera to determine there was a fire in an electrical intake box and dealt with it using a hose reel jet and dry powder extinguisher.
Other members of the crew wearing breathing apparatus escorted the occupants to safety.
Crews then checked neighbouring properties for signs of fire spread, gave fire safety advice and worked with UK Power Networks electrical safety engineers to make the scene safe.
There were no reported injuries.
