A family are making a desperate plea for information, which could help reunite them with one of their loved ones for Christmas.

Fifty-year-old Stephen Leheup from Turner Road in Tonbridge arrived home from work on Sunday, November 20, but swiftly left his house on foot without keys or money and has not been seen or heard from since.

The father-of-one took his mobile phone with him and phone charger, which police have been able to trace to the north Tonbridge area, but it is not known if it is still in his possession, as it’s believed the battery has now gone dead. Officers have also conducted several searches of the area with Kent Search and Rescue, but nothing has been found.

An added concern is that Stephen suffers from diabetes and it’s not known if he has sufficient medication or nutrition to treat his condition.

Stephen’s son, Toby, 20, and his mother Dawn, are both very concerned.

Dawn said: "Having someone you love go missing is one of the worst feelings in the world. This Christmas won’t be the same without Stephen and we are desperate just to know that he is safe. If he or anyone who knows of his whereabouts sees this message, I would urge them to make contact, even if it’s just to the police to let us know he is out there. We certainly hope he will walk through the door at Christmas, that’s what I want more than anything. It’s the best present I could wish for."

Mr Leheup is described as white, of stocky build, with straight, greying brown hair, blue eyes and a moustache. He also wears glasses and is around 5 ft 10 ins.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Missing People on 0500 700 700.
