Thousands of people will flock to Marden tomorrow for the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match.
Farmers in modern and vintage vehicles will show off their skills and there is a separate competition for horse ploughing.
But the day offers much more with a gymkhana, steam engines, a dog show, terrier racing, a tug-of-war, birds of prey, gun dugs, clay pigeon shooting as well as a bar and refreshments stalls.
There is also a farmers market with 35 stalls.
James Forknall, chairman of the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match Association, said: “This is an important event in the farming diary, which brings the rural community together and celebrates growing the best crops and hops, as well as providing the opportunity to take part in the many different events.
“It is also an important event as it raises money for local and national charities each year, so come along and enjoy a great family day out in the beautiful surroundings of the Weald.”
The event on Saturday takes place at Gatehouse Farm, off Hunton Road, and is open to the public from 9am till 7pm.
Parking is free. Entry is £5, with under 12s free.
