The curtain will come down on a cabaret club which has hosted the likes of Bernard Manning, Jim Davidson and Michael Barrymore for the final time this weekend.
Victoria's in Ashford Road, Harrietsham, has entertained guests with a wide variety of shows since 1972, earning a reputation for wild, controversial and debauched nights, before becoming hen party specialists in its latter years.
However, a difficult few months has now forced bosses behind the venue to announce its closure, and, ultimately, the building's demolition to make way for new homes.
Owner Spencer Holley said: "Our running costs are astronomical and we just haven't been able to keep up.
"We don't feel like we can charge our customers any more to make up for it - everyone's struggling at the moment. It's very sad."
Manager Kerry Guest added: "It's devastating, I've been here 29 years and I've seen so many changes over that time - it's just been the best time.
"We've had a few famous faces, particularly during the 80s, and we've put on loads of charity events which I think have made a real difference to people.
"The decision has been made to finish this year with the best family nights and Christmas celebrations possible so we can go out with as many more happy memories as we can make.
"We have had many acts through our doors, some for just a one-night-only special and some who have supported us over the many years, giving endless nights of entertainment and we want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts."
The venue is holding its final few events over the coming days before its showcase farewell show - an 80s and 90s Christmas party - on Saturday, December 21 for which tickets are already sold out.
Earlier this year, KentOnline spoke to Ray Radmore, who spent years rubbing shoulders with star names at the club.
