Firefighters were called to a car fire in Cranbrook, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
It happened just after 3am this morning in Angley Walk.
Crews wore breathing apparatus and used hose reels and a fogspike to tackle the flames.
They also used a thermal imaging camera to make sure the fire hadn't spread to other properties.
The car was destroyed.
Police say the fire is being treated as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing.
