Firefighters were called to a house fire last night.

The blaze took hold in the roof or a three-storey end-of-terrace property in Northleigh Close, Loose.

Crews attended the incident in two fire engines shortly after 8pm and had extinguished the fire by 9.30pm.

No casualties have been reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
