Three fire engines from two counties were called to free a man and a woman trapped in a two-car crash.
Crews from Kent and Surrey fire and rescue services found the man and woman trapped in one of the vehicles and used hydraulic spreaders and rams including the 'jaws of life' to cut them free.
Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service took the couple to hospital by ambulance.
The crash happened in Hartfield Road, Edenbridge, on Sunday morning at 9.45am.
Fires crews were on the site until 11.20am to make the area safe.
