Fire crews tackled a blaze at a farm near Lenham in the early hours of this morning.
Two Dutch steel barns full of straw were well alight at the Payden Street site as the officers used compressed air foam system to extinguish the fires.
Pumps from Ashford, Charing and Lenham attended the scene just before midnight.
A number of crews were at the scene for around four hours.
Ashford watch manager, Tim Hanley, said that one unit was still on site this morning, maintaining watch from a safe distance.
One brick barn was saved in the incident.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
