Firefighters spent around half an hour battling a blaze in a shop chimney.

Crews were called to a shop in Upper Stone Street, Maidstone, at around 1.50pm and used specialist tools to assess the fire and damage before putting it out.

Fortunately nobody was hurt in the fire and there were no reported injuries.

The fire was put out by 2.20pm and the cause remains unknown.
