Two fire engines and paramedics were called to a house in Maidstone this evening.

A blaze started in a garage containing several motorbikes behind the property, and fire crews used hoses to tackle the flames.

No-one is thought to have been injured in the blaze which broke out just after 7pm at a house on Buckland Hill, between London Road and Buckland Road.

The fire was brought under control by 7.30pm.
